How do I cancel my membership?

To cancel your membership, click "More" in the Dance app, select "Subscription" and then "Cancel subscription" at the bottom.

You will be asked to choose a Dance drop-off location for returning your vehicle. You’ll receive further instructions on how to lock your vehicle, where to place your accessories etc. via the app.

Please note: as a safety precaution, the drop-off of your Dance vehicle is not possible over weekends (from Friday 12:00 till Sunday 12:00) in Germany.

If you are located in Paris, the drop-offs are only possible from Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3pm.

When to cancel your subscription:

To avoid additional charges, drop off your vehicle before your next invoice date, within the drop-off hours. You can see your next invoice date in the app by clicking “More” > “Subscription” > Next invoice date.
It means that if you are invoiced on the 5th of each month, you need to return your vehicle on the 4th, the latest.
There is no notice to give, you need to follow the process in the app at the moment you want to return your vehicle. Your subscription and invoicing will stop after you confirmed the return of the vehicle in the app.

I have an Annual Subscription:

You can cancel your annual subscription within the first month if you do not like the product. After the first month, you may only cancel your annual subscription at the end of the twelve-month period. You can see your subscription end date in the app by clicking “More” > “Subscription”.

After the minimum term of twelve months, you can cancel your annual subscription every month. Your subscription will automatically continue, month after month, as long as you do not return your vehicle.

If you chose the one-time payment, your subscription will automatically renew itself for a new year, if you do not cancel it before the invoice date.

Please note that we do not offer prorata refunds for a billed month.

In case you need to cancel your subscription before the end of your commitment, please contact us directly.

If you want to cancel your membership before you receive your vehicle, please reach out to our customer service team. For detailed instructions on how to contact us, please refer here. Please make sure to do so at least 24 hours before your vehicle is delivered to the pickup location. Otherwise, a no-show fee might be applied in accordance with our fee list.

If you change your mind, we’d be happy to welcome you back to Dance! 

Bring your accessories

Please remember to bring all your accessories to the drop-off location. Follow the return instructions in-app to leave the items with the vehicle safely. Otherwise, charges may apply in accordance with our fee list.
