What should I make sure I do before riding my ebike or moped?

Here are a few general tips for a safe ride with your ebike or moped:

Wear a helmet: It’s always a good idea to wear protective gear. We recommend it for ebikes, and it is mandatory for riding mopeds.

Charge and secure your battery: It’s best to always take your battery with you to your home and office and always fully charge it before starting your next ride.

Check the brakes: Before you set off, always give your brakes a quick test.

Drive with foresight: Even though it may feel like it - the road is not yours alone. Be prudent, watch out for other road users, obey the rules and look out for yourself and those around you.

Don’t forget to lock up: After each ride, make sure you have properly locked your ebike or moped. Your ebike is best secured if you attach the front wheel and frame to a fixed object with the chain lock.
