I can’t open the chain lock of my ebike. What should I do?

If you have trouble opening the lock, try the following:

1. Check if the set code is correct. You find your code in the Dance app under "More" - "Lock details"
2. Make sure the lock is not under tension. 
3. Carefully align the correct numbers. 
4. Pull the black metal part next to the numbers on the right side to open the lock.

If this doesn’t work, please don’t use force, and contact us. If the lock is stuck on the bike, you can simply book a repair through the Dance app. If the lock is not on the bike, please keep your bike in safety. You can book a repair and write in the comment section where to leave the new lock (e.g. to a tree) and your availabilities.

Attention: At cold temperatures the lock can freeze. Please drip some warm water over the numbers and the locking mechanism to unfreeze it. Alternatively liquid hand sanitizers work as well.
